Lisa Simeone

Lisa Simeone is a freelance radio host known for hosting "The World of Opera", a radio show produced the NPR affiliate radio station WDAV. She also worked on "Soundprint", a documentary show airing on NPR affiliate stations until she was fired on October 19, 2011.[1] The firing was for alleged ethics code violations.

According to The Huffington Post,

Simeone, who lives in Baltimore, said she has been serving with about 50 people on a steering committee for an occupation protest on Pennsylvania Avenue [in Washington, D.C.] that's known as the October 2011 Movement. She said it is not connected to the Occupy Wall Street movement, but that they share similar philosophies.[2]
